11 January 2009 - A better Sunday

As the title denotes, i am getting better. I am not bluffing, bcoz i really worked hard for it. Well, right on the Sunday of that week, yup....i went to the City Harvest church for service as usual, though the number of goers was staggeringly disappointing. Supposedly there were around 7 to 8 of us who were going so that we could call a van to fetch us (the van fare is not cheap u know...). However, it ended up in only 2 of us going to church, from whom one of them was a girl from girl's hostel, called Chu Huan, and another one was a guy, called......me lah. Lol...so, on that day, i woke up at around 5.30am, did some revisions ( hmm...don't call me nerd, bcoz i was gonna spend almost my whole day for Jesus later) and then took a bath and dressed up myself...craps....by 7.00am, i walked to the bus stop in section 2, which is located around 2km from my hostel. Actually, we should meet up at 9.00am, at girl's hostel there. Why was i so desperate that i had to wake up and take the bus at such an early time?! Haih... Blame the bus lah! The rapid kl T529 always comes late, and so did it that day. I reached section 2 at around 7.30am, and had been waiting for the bus for almost an hour. Therefore, i went to the taxi stand and took the taxi, heading straight to akasia hostel. The bus service over here was really driving me mad, albeit it has been told that patience is gold. Patience has its LIMITS too! So, i reached there at 8.45am, and i saw no traces of human at our meeting place, which is a bus stop. Only saw her (Chu Huan)coming out of hostel at 9.00am sharp, bcoz she just WOKE UP (oh my god...). Then, we took another taxi to the church (haih...broke loh...). Wow! The driver was anomalously talkable! On the way, he talked to us about his version of 'life journey', emphasizing on the importance of faith for god. Unbelievably, i personally think that he can do more than just becoming a taxi driver! We arrived at church at 9.30am.....the pastor preached about faith ALSO that day. Don't always think of why, but instead, think of how to overcome the problems. Blah blah blah....the service ended at 12.30pm, then we went to a food court nearby for lunch. yeah...porkING....After that, Andrew sent us to the Subang Jaya KTM station. So, we reached akasia hostel at 2.30pm and then i went to loiter around Ole-Ole complex. I had bought a new maxis sim card as i have so many friends using maxis number. Once again, i waited for the bloody bus for almost another an hour.....that evening, i played football with the Malay gang of my classmates, namely Aliff, Ikhwan, Farhan, Hisham....i accidedntally injured my toe. So sad. Therefore, i went back earlier than the others and at the same time, i sent the very 1st maxis sms to Chu Huan, thanking her for bringing me to church. I felt so sorry for her lah! U know what...i almost didn't talk to her that day. Not more than 5 'complete' sentences in our conversation, though i could see that she was trying hard to find a topic to chat with me. haih...bcoz of my dull personality. That is all about my Sunday. Dull......

1st week after coming back to INTEC....

Well, this week has been a miserable week for me. I am writing this blog using my mobile phone N82 right in the INTEC, the bloody place where most of my nightmares derive from. Yeah, tell u guys one bloody thing which is happening to me now. The very unstable network of wi-fi connection here is really getting on my nerve. Writing halfway can suddenly be disconnected from connection. As a result, i have to run here and there to get a better position and maintain the network connection. So tiring! I haven't eat my breakfast and lunch yet lah! In fact, i don't recall that i buy any breakfast since i was back to hostel few days ago. Okay, back to the story.

First day of the week, the Sunday, my parents sent me back to hostel for re-registration. That day was okay. Nothing ridiculous happened. Just a bit tired bcoz had to pack all my stuffs into my cupboard. Anyway, it wasn't that bad. So......Passed!

Second day of the week, the Monday. That day was a god-damned day, i am not bluffing. That day, i woke up late, which i think that i have to work out a solution for it. I slept too much during the holidays lah! In the morning, my roommates and i took the usual UiTM bus to INTEC. That day had no lessons, we just went there to settle the registration. We entered the hall at around 8.30am. As we entered, i saw a few workers standing in front of the entrance, checking our attires. 'Die loh...' Looking at my long hair, i ady knew what would happen next. 'hey! Ambil kad matrik kau ke mari...' one of them said to me. At first, i pretended as if i didn't hear that or may be that she was talking to the other one. But when i looked at her, her visage told me something like 'don't play the fool with me, i am not stupid.'. Well done. I followed her to a table beside, and then she took out a booklet and 'saman' me. So sad. However, i was still considered as the lucky one. Some of them got caught before they managed to pass the main gate. Some others lagi cham! Got caught before they were able to get out of the bus. Therefore, some of us planned to go sungai wang to cut or trim our hair. I reminded my friend to call me when they were about to go sw. So, without much doubts, i took a nap while waiting for the call. I woke up at 12.30pm. But there still weren't any missed calls or what. Then, i sms him and few minutes later the reply was something saying that they were on the way to sw ady. In a nutshell, i had been 'aeroplaned' (which means 放飞机 in Cantonese). Sorry for some of the improper use of grammar, i am seriously not in a mood to write proper language. Haih...what in the merlin's name....zhung lun and daniel are surely gonna laugh at me if they read about this blog. Fine. And then yet again, i went alone. I took U80 and reached Petaling Street at 2pm. Then i walked to times square where i cut my hair and is about 2km from the station. Wwuuu...my hair is so short man! Not handsome-looking ady. Actually i was indirectly competing with some of my friends for the hairstyles. Well well..losing the 'length', i was totally out of the contest. Blah blah blah..nothing special happened, except that i met a form 6 friend. That place is so near to my school, anyway. So, i reached my hostel at 8pm, using the same transportation and route. That was not all yet. At 9.30pm sharp, one of my good friends, ping wen sms me. Yeah...i had been told that i was extremely quiet and stern that day and that was why she didn't dare to approach me. Well..she wasn't the 1st one who told me this. So, i just simply made some jokes to cheer her up. But what had happened next was the worst one. She told me that she got food poisoning after having her very 1st dinner in her hostel. How shocked was i to hear that. 买马票都没这样准叻!Then, i just advised her to get some sleep and all that i had learnt when i was still doing my duty for PBSM. So, that day was very terrible. Failed....

We still had to go INTEC the next day for the academic briefing session. Nothing special. After that, we went back to hostel. On the way, i took the chance to sms ping wen, asking for her condition. Okay. Feeling better. Just needed to eat porridge for another few days and i hope that she will recover as soon as possible. For the rest of the day, nothing special happened, except 'arguing' on the pros and cons of certain things with pw. So, that day was considerably okay. However, i still remained very quiet. Didn't feel like talking. Whatever lah! Today, i mean that day, just let it be PASSED.

For the next few days till today, everyday looked alike. Having normal lessons, getting back the test papers...blah blah...normal things that we will do in class. But i found that something is wrong with me. I have become much less talkative than i was used to be last year. Or in fact, i am back to my nature, just like what happened in my secondary school. Well...i think it is bcoz i have just been so alone for the holidays. Can't cope with it for the moments. What i need is more time! Perhaps it is time to disturb some of my buddies ady. Hehe! Yeah...this may be the only solution. Haha! Okay! Need to go back to my hostel liao. I am so sweaty now, after playing badminton with friends in gymnasium. Sorry man! I can't tell much this time. My fingers are aching ady. U know, i am typing this blog using a different thing. God bless! The network had stopped troubling me much so that i can write 'peacefully'. My next post, hmm...i am still uncertain of it, just be patient lah! Take care and stay tuned, my friends! ^^

Countdown In Bukit Bintang!! Yahoo........

Halo! Happy New Year 2009 to everyone!! It seems that u guys had celebrated well for ur New Year!!

Yesterday, i went to my friend( Hsien Ming )'s house at around 1.30 pm. Nothing special happened there, only got a session for presents exchange among us. Then, we went to a nearby restaurant 不见不散for lunch. We had been chatting there for hours ( more accurately, THEY chatted ). So boring...so i just took out a book to read. Then, another friend of ours, Eng Hong, phoned us saying that he might not be able to follow us to Times Square. Being disappointed, we went to the LRT station which is located at Pandan Jaya and reached Times Square after a while. We went to a Kopitiam shop for another round of lunch!! Walao! The waiters were so terrible man! Kept us waiting for such a long time before we managed to order food....Then, i suddenly thought of one of my juniors, Chin Hong whom i had met just now on the escalator. I called him, and asked whether can i join them for the countdown. And so, we met at the archade cybercafe. Luckily they were there, otherwise i would have to go for the countdown alone. Wow! There were so many of them lah! All juniors though.... there were also other girls from other schools. After playing there for a while, we went outside for dinner. Damned loh.... Chee Hoe led us to that mamak using another long, long WAY! He didn't know there is something which we call 'shortcut'. Haih.... so we had our dinner there, and chatted for another long time. Haha! I didn't really talk much with them. So, we had a small ice-breaking session. At around 8.30 pm, we finished our dinner, and then went back to Times Square for photographing session!! We had taken a lot of photos man! Here they are:

They are all my juniors. From left: Chee Hoe, Chin Hong, Them Hong, Chee Wei. Front row: Meng Tsu and Yu Shaun.

Me and my juniors. They were so naughty man!

After we had done, we went to the Starbucks to buy coffees. BUY 2 FREE 1!!!! Hohohoho...... But there were so many people waiting there to buy ady. We took quite a long time for it.

We formed the "Starbucks Team". Haha!

Next, we went outside, right in front of the entrance with our coffees. We saw a lot of people decorated themselves with all kinds of weird styles! One of the best is...........................

So cool man! I hope i can be dressed in this way, without being slaughtered by my parents.

We were waiting there for the time to pass until 10.45 pm. when all the guards "halau" all of us. It was very crowded outside here now.

Crowdy atmosphere in front of the entrance.

We went to the street of Sungai Wang. There were people selling the spraying tins. 4 tins for RM10. Therefore, each of us bought 4 of them. Them Hong and Yu Shaun were the ones who started the spraying. We watched out for the prankers, and then "cooperated" to "backfire" that fellow! so funny..........

We sprayed as we walked, we DON'T CARE!!

There were many local actors and actress here. Daniel, the Malaysian Idol was also here. Unfortunately, he was a great distance away from us on the stage. Not able to take his photos lah! At 12.00 pm, the time that indicated the beginning of new year 2009, had finally come. This was then followed by fireworks high upon the sky.

Fireworks!! Sorry for the blurry photos. My position was not that nice. Haha!

That was all for the celebration. After that, we took another route to go to Hang Tuah LRT station. Along the street, i had taken quite a lot of photos. Haha!

Commotion!! A Malay guy was suspected to be too high. He just threw his spraying tin into a car, smashing a car!! Fighting!!!

Wow! Got many polices oh!

We were all wet!

Haiz...even the LRT station also................

At last, i reached my house at around 2.00 am. The end. Happy New Year!!!!!!!!!!

Here We Go! Caroling In City Harvest!!!

Hi! Merry Christmas to everyone!! Especially to my brothers listed in "My Friends". After having read through their blogs, i found that i am the last one who posts my shared story of Christmas Day! Therefore, i must quickly catch up and keep pace with them!! Hoho! Okay! Let me head straight to how i had celebrated for my Christmas Day, a memorable yet important day among the Christians.

24th of December 2008, Christmas Eve!!
Well....As usual, i got on my U48 and went to a nearby KTM station which is located at Salak Selatan. The train brought me to KL Sentral, from where i took another train to Subang Jaya Station. Walao! It was so crowded inside the train man! I was pushed to the doorside, with my face nearly "attached" to the window. That is what i always worry about. With so many people here, i must pay extra attention to be aware of any traces of pickpockets. Yeah.... Owing to the fact that i was being extremely and constantly vigilant, i didn't realise that i had accidentally dropped my KTM TICKET!!! Fortunately, a good-looking, angelic, helpful, kind-hearted.......miss reminded me of this as she saw my ticket on the floor. God bless! After standing there for around half an hour, the train finally reached my destination at Subang Jaya. "Damn it....." i whispered as i saw a bunches of people lining up at the exit. So, i wasted another 5 minutes just to get out of this place. Standing at the entrance, i was wondering where the hell should i go now. It was only 5.30 pm!! Whereas the service in City Harvest Church would only be started at around 9.00 pm. At the same time, i saw a familiar bus waiting outside the KTM station. Without considering much, i came out with an idea of where to go. Sunway Pyramid. A very usual place i will go with this little mini bus. Next, i boarded the bus, paid the usual 70 cents for bus fee and the bus went on its "journey". It took around 15 minutes to reach Sunway. Luckily the traffic was not jammed that time, otherwise it would have taken a longer time. Got out of the bus, took the bridge, and now i was at the entrance of Sunway ( bullshit..... ). The surroundings were intense with Christmas atmosphere. I loitered around, taking some photos of the artificial Christmas trees.

Red Great Christmas Trees at the entrance!

After having my dinner and msn with some friends at Mac Donald, i took a taxi at the entrance and headed straight to City Harvest. It was 7.30 pm now. The driver was a bit blurred with the location, and this took around 15 minutes for him to find his way to City Harvest. Wah.....There were so many people man! It was unusually crowded as compared to the normal services. Many people came to celebrate for the Christmas Eve. My handphone rang and it was Andrew who made the call. "I am in front the gate ady....." i told him. He asked me to wait and someone would come out and ushered us. I had been standing there for almost an hour ( though i came so early...) and finally we entered the hall.

So crowded man!

In the hall, Pastor Kelvin was ady talking to the guests. Blah blah blah.....the pastor asked some of the "gentlemen" ( including me ) to go to top backseat where the members of ministry was taking the videos so that more people could came in. However, there were really a lot of people. Many people had to stand outside and watched the "television" ( hmm...some people should know what i mean...). At 9.00 pm, the service was started. As usual, there were singings and prayers sessions. After that, it was the interesting part of the night that began. The DRAMA! Well....This is a very touching drama, i can't recall all of them, so i just try my best to tell as much as possible. This is a story about life which is all about love and giving ( hmm...i think lah ). The drama started with dances and singings, and then the scene went to the shop, which i think was a gift shop, because the Santa was there! The shop was managed by a boss who was an absolute penny pincher. He had a son who had gone oversea, and many workers to help him operate his bussiness. The following are some of the photos i had taken during the drama ( perhaps this way can tell better) :

Look at the man who sat in a weird pose, he was Andrew, who was 'seducing' ( or attracting ) the women around him and kept on giving his name cards! So funny!

你那么爱她,为什么不把她留下......song by 李圣杰. Haha! Tell u all. This guy had spoilt 5 speakers in a month. Because of this, he was scolded by the boss. Don't know how did he sing one.....haha!

Ballet and singings!!

Dancing with Satan and Elves!

Scolding session by the boss! Satan was actually one of the workers also, not the real one. They were scolded for not being serious, simply giving out their products as "christmas presents" to the customers especially the children. And this time, for being late to work on Christmas Day, no punctuality!! Attention: This was actually not the workers's fault. The boss was too strict to them. Some of them had ady told the reasons, but the boss was just not considerate. It was backfired anyways. All the workers resigned not to work for the boss. Blah blah blah....then, he suddenly so missed his son. He thought of how his wife had died in a road accident. That was what that caused him such manner (penny-pinching loh..). So, at last, he resolved to apologise to his workers, and was willing to pay them a considerably great allowance for compensation. Happy ending!! ^-^

The kids are so cute!!

They are the actors and actress of the drama. Wow! So many of them.

Wah....so romantic right! This was the caroling session. We were holding the candles and singing songs.

Well....That was all we had enjoyed in City Harvest. It ended at 12.00 am. Yeah! Merry Christmas to everyone!! After that, Andrew invited me and his friends to a nearby mamak for supper. We went there by his car. When we reached mamak there, my dad called me and told me that he had come to fetch me. Aiyo! Why like that one?! I was not done yet! So, i told Andrew that i was very sorry for not being able to stay with them. Haih....then, i walked to Sunway to where my parents were waiting. On the way, i saw many people gathering along the edge of Sunway. Walao! They sprayed on passing people using the tin. They were so 'high'!! haha!

Rubbish were all over the ground! Don't spray on me, please!!

That is all for me. The next day was Christmas Day, as we all know. I went to some shopping mall, and had taken some photos to share with u all. ^-^
